Amanda Chunn and Armont Appraisals

Armont Appraisals operates based on a core set of principles: clarity and transparency; the demystification of the art market; keeping apace with art market trends; and pursuing knowledge to the benefit of our growing clientele.

Before launching Armont Appraisals in 2021, Amanda Chunn worked for several years at one of the premier fine art galleries in the United States. Her extensive knowledge of art history and the art market make her uniquely positioned to offer a range of services to both seasoned and new collectors.

A Midwest native, Chunn is an academically-trained art historian. She earned a Master’s in Art History from the University of Manchester in 2009, as well as a Master’s of Library and Information Studies from the University of Wisconsin in 2012.

She is an Accredited member of the Appraisers Association of America (AAA), having completed the Association’s Comprehensive Appraisal Studies Program. She is currently based in Sugar Land, Texas.
